In memory of PAK

Assalamualaikum / Good Day.....

It has been quite a busy week eventho i'm still on holiday , but not really...lots of things to be settled...am i contradicting myself? With Kenduri kahwin almost every day during the week and death certainly heads the news, the memory of Pak lingers....

My dad, Hj. Rejab bin Man, 78, whom i passionately refer to as, 'Pak", passed away in an accident way back on March 8, 2004. It has been 3 years and 3 months now. My mind is still haunted by his sudden death.

In his death certificate it was stated as MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident).

A teenage kid on his brother's motorbike without licence, without roadtax, no helmet, with no lights on riding like mad, rammed into Pak. It was dusk and Pak was cycling home from my sister's place for his Maghrib prayers. He suffered concussion and breath his last at about midnight without gaining consciousness.

A police report has been made but unfortunately to date nothing transpire.

He has been a very good dad to us and a very caring husband to my mum. He will be forever remembered for his good deeds.

My heart pounds harder when the thought of his death creeps in. William Wallace (Mel Gibson in Braveheart,1995) said, We need to have the courage to face fear.

He reiterated that

Every man dies, not every man really lives.

Pak...kembalimu kepangkuan Illahi diredhai oleh kami..

اِذَا مَاتَ اْلاِنْسَـان اِنـْقـَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ اِلاَّ مِنْ ثَلاَثَةٍ : صَدَقَـةٍ جَارِيَةٍ ، اَوْعِلْمٍ

يـُنـْتـَفَعُ بـِهِ ، أوْوَلـَدٍ صَالحٍ يـَدْعُـوْلَهُ

Sabda Nabi, "Bila seseorang meninggal dunia, maka putuslah segala amalnya kecuali tiga perkara; sedekah jariah, ilmu yang bermanfaat dan anak saleh yang mendoakan kedua orang tuanya" (Diriwayatkan oleh Muslim)

Sesungguhnya ALLAH lebih mengasihimu. Al Quran kesayangan milikmu yang mencatatkan 177 kali khatam membuatkan kami, anak-anakmu berasa amat terharu dan percaya ALLAH menerimamu dalam keredaanNYA.

Tenanglah kau disana...

Beib sentiasa berdoa agar Pak....
